James Whitmore requested a General Plan Amendment on his property located at approximately 4150 North Digital Drive to Light Industrial. It is currently designated as Commercial. The City Council did not want to change the General Plan to allow Light Industrial uses, but also no utilities are located at this location. The applicant wants to be able to use their property in the future. So the proposed Development Agreement would allow the James Whitmore to use his property for vehicle and equipment storage, sod transfer, and green waste facilities for the next three years.
