Andrew Ward wants to install an eight-foot fence along the north property line at 1337 S. 1880 W. The Development Code limits fences to six feet unless an exception is approved.

Andrew wants the additional height to improve safety for his children so they can enjoy the side yard. Traffic along 1300 S. has increased due to nearby development and Pioneer Crossing construction. While traffic volumes do not qualify for traffic-calming measures, Andrew believes the taller fence will provide a safer yard.
