This item was approved by the Planning Commission.

Smith's is requesting conditional use approval to place a pylon sign on the Smith's parcel, located at 2100 North and 3600 West. The original sign request was for 70-feet, but the applicant has revised their sign to be 50-feet. This would still require an exception from the Planning Commission as this exceeds the 25-foot height limit. The Planning Commission will need to consider if the additional height is justified for the future 2100 North Freeway.

I am concerned about the potential 70 foot tall sign. That is way too big. I understand the 2100 route will soon have a freeway but I don’t want a corridor cluttered with billboards and massive signs

Our townhouse is the first townhouse on the end directly next to the backside of the Smith building. Where is the exact location of the smaller 25 ft pylon?
