Shuman Homes' 8-foot Fence

Bryan and Adrianne Summers want to install an eight-foot fence along the west side of their property at 1749 W 525 S. The Code limits fences to six feet unless the Planning Commission grants an exception to go taller.
The Summers are requesting the taller fence because of a large, aggressive dog on the adjacent property. The proposed fence would be installed on the applicant’s property and consist of chain link with privacy slats designed to match the existing fence.
The Planning Commission does not have to approve the taller fence. They determine if these unique circumstances make an eight foot fence necessary. Neighbors can provide online or in person comments in favor or against this proposal.
