This item received a positive recommendation by the Planning Commission and will go to City Council on July 14th

Lehi City proposes a new use of Neighborhood Exchange Structures. This encompasses uses like Little Free Libraries, neighborhood food pantries, and other similar uses. The proposal will allow them in all residential zones and many of the commercial zones. This proposal is mainly to make it clear that they are not permitted on public property without written permission and that they cannot block or overhang onto sidewalks or be in any utility easements.
