As part of the Lehi City annexation procedures, all annexation requests are required to be reviewed by the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission’s responsibility is to review the proposed annexation and determine whether or not the requested zoning is appropriate and complies with the General Plan. The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for their review upon final consideration of the annexation.

The General Plan designates this property as VLDRA. The applicant requests to annex the property located at approximately 500 East 700 S with proposed TH-5 zoning. They will need to return in the future with a zone change request and water dedication to pursue any development of the property.

The proposed annexation will add a portion of an existing county island. This area has a general plan land use designation with the intent that it would annex into Lehi at some point.
