Garden Park Subdivision Exception
This item was approved by the Planning Commission
Adam Albrecht is developing the Garden Park subdivision and wants to put an 8-foot fence on the property line next to the railroad corridor. The Code allows fences up to 6-feet in height but requires an exception for anything taller than 6-feet. Adam wants the taller fence to reduce railroad noise, visually screen the corridor, deter unauthorized access to the lots from the rail corridor, and establish the boundary line.
8-foot fences also require a building permit to ensure they are structurally sound.
Anyone from the public can comment on the proposed 8-foot tall fence. You can also ask question below.
