Consultation has concluded

Corey Middleton wants to build a new commercial building with three units located at 1742 East Center Pointe Drive. One of the units would be "Beaches", a tanning salon. They are asking for two exceptions. One they are proposing to put the building next to the existing O'Reilly's, this will require an exception to the Design Standards which require that the building be oriented towards the street without parking or a drive aisle between it. The applicant also wants the building to face south towards the VASA gym, where most of their clients come from. The Code also requires the entrance be oriented towards the street.

The Planning Commission is just considering whether these exceptions should be granted. Comments should focus on these exceptions. You can ask a question or leave a comment below.
