Fibertel wants to place fiber lines in Traverse Mountain for Comcast. The Traverse Mountain Area Plan says private utilities are a conditional use. Conditional use means they are allowed by the City but conditions can be put on them if there are negative impacts to surrounding properties. The fiber line will be below ground.

Traverse Mountain has a 2 foot easement that restricts what can pass through the easement. The City is aware of this easement but does not have a responsibility to enforce it.
