This item received a positive recommendation by the Planning Commission and will go to City Council on July 14th

Lehi City is looking to update the requirements for the automobile sales and rental use. The proposed update will allow this use in the Commercial Zone. It is currently allowed in the Heavy Commercial, Regional Commercial, and Light Industrial Zones.

This change will also remove the one acre lot size requirement that was previously in place.

Other requirements for this use include a 24 foot drive aisle with adequate emergency access, an on-site office building, and asphalt, concrete or pavers for the display of vehicles unless a different material is approved by City Staff.
