The exception was approved by the Planning Commission
Alpine Bible Church for their new proposed location at 710 West Main Street asks for an exception to the 40% glass requirement on the first floor in the Urban Village Design District. This would require glass on the outside of the primary worship and assembly area. Glass in this location does not work for audio-visual technology or projector screens.
The Church added extra architectural features to provide visual interest on that elevation.
